I decided that Demon's Tale was annoying, so I had John kill it. =P Here's something I think will be a bit more fun... kinda like X-Men, but different.
.:Intro/Storyline:.
Ryan Stevens was a jackass.
He was your basic bully of the high school. If you were small, and you had money, he would take it. If you were a nerd, you'd be doing his homework for him. He had the biggest muscles in the whole school, and quite possibly the shortest temper.
But one day, he disappeared.
It was as though one day, he was shoving your head in a toilet, and the next, you walked home without a limp. Most of the school was pleased by this, and no one asked too many questions about it. Most were simply happy to see him gone.
However, soon more kids began to turn up missing. Now, Lincoln High was a rather large school, so at first it wasn't very apparent. Only a few kids would miss their friends, and nothing was ever said about it in the announcements. But soon, some students began to notice something odd. No one was inquiring about the missing kids. Not the parents, not the administrators, not the police... no one in the town was noticing the disappearances, which were increasing rapidly everyday.
What none of the kids knew was that their town sat right upon an ancient Hell Hole, and that evil powers had been gathering there for the past few years. The dark forces were using the souls of the missing kids to gain enough energy to unlock the Hell Hole and unleash a black death upon the world to create a hell on earth. Also, the demons had used their powers to convert all of the adults in the town into their mind slaves. Anyone over the age of 20 was under the control of the demons (except a few who managed to escape =O).
However, due to the high increase of magical energies concentrated upon the town, some kids have developed powers they don't yet know about. When the kids begin to discover them, they also begin to discover the evil plot unfolding around them, and that adults they once trusted are now their worst enemies. In an attempt to stop this evil force, those with powers must band together and combine their forces against the demons...
.:Rules:.
-No Godmoders. Your character should definitely have a weakness of some sort, and their powers CANNOT be unstoppable.
-No killing NPCs (played by me) without MY CONSENT. Some of 'em have a purpose and I don't want 'em killed off before they serve that purpose.
-The basic RP ettiquete rules... grammURH, etc.
-Two character limit per person.
-Put "omg lol" at the top of your post so I know ye read this. ^_^ *loves these kinda rules*
-Anything else I decide to throw at you along the way.
.:Mah Charrie:.
Name: Shenjo Myoujin (But of course--you should know what he looks like and all by now.)
Age: 14 (Freshman)
Power: The ability to "read minds", so to speak. It's actually more like he hears people's most fervent thoughts, or he can "feel" their strongest emotions and "read" the thoughts that come with them. In other words, he can't read shielded emotions or people with "walls" up against their thoughts. He also can see things that aren't perceptable with normal human eyes. Shenjo's powers only work in close-range, so if he's more than five yards or so away from the person, he won't hear their mind too well or not at all.
History: Lives alone with his father (rarely home) in an appartment. Shenjo was one of the first to become aware of his power, because it developed without him having to do much--he just began to hear the thoughts.
Personality: Shy, sort of quiet, and unnaturally perceptive of everything around him. His recently-developed power has made him a bit self-conscious, and he really doesn't like being able to hear thoughts. Normally, he tries to stay away from people because of this.
Other Oddities of Note: Shenjo doesn't like animals much. He was attacked by a dog when he was young, and since then he's just hated them, and gets rather nervous in the presence of anything with fur, scales, or tails.
If they've noticed the disappearances, when did they?: When his sister, Eriko, disappeared (I'm dead! =D).

I'll start off when we get a few sign-ups.
