all those years ago, i still remember it..what happened to not me but him that little boy i knew for a mer hour or so changed my life forever, this story of my own past im about to tell is rather similar to a story in a book called "Night" but not the same
i was..about to start middle school in a year in Minnisota i lived there with my mother father and my mother's sister.back then i was very religous i would often thank "god" for many of the things i had my family my freinds the food i ate..never fish or pork, at least not back then. my father took his rightful roll as the head of the house,my mother second my brother 3rd then me. i had finished my last day of 4th grade i was becoming older and my barmitzva was in a few weeks, a freind of mine Nikky Farsaw,really my only freind in that town had to wait for her parents the last day,i waited with her shelent me her cell phone and i told my parents id walk home i was only 2 hours away from home so i could walk. we waited 3 hours it was 6 33, i decided that we sould walk to my house she could wait there it wa startting to snow anyway. we were half way to my mother's an open feild about a mile ahead i saw a boy and a man the man yelling at the child he didnt look much younger than me from the distance, i say a flash. . . .and then allmost a halfa second i had a loud bang! nikky did to she got down its what she knew to do. i saw the man run..for a few seconds i wonder which direction then i knew he was running toward us as well...about he was about half to us i ran to him, i needed to protect Nikky..i few moments later he stopped infront of my kneeling down panting he looked exausted it was then i feared for my life..."a skinhead" or in now a days trems also a "Nazi" he stood up(the true reason i feared him was because of todays assignment in english we wrote our religion on our hands) i quickly remember this put my hands behind my back took out my pen and started to blindly write. he looked to me then i saw what made the flash a gun a pistol in his hand he did the Nazi's adress he said "Hail Hitler" i didnt know what to do except copy him i said "Hail Hitler!" he nodded and looked at my hand i though it was over for me but i didnt care as much as for myslef but for Nikky. he took my hand and put it back he laughed "all of'em!"he said he looked to Nikky hudeling in the snow asked if she was Jewish i said "No,she a christan hardcore christan" he smiled and laughted asked me if i had seen any dirty jews.i told him one ran across the feild he went that way i ran back to Nikky got her up took her cell and we ran to the boy i called 911 told them to come "the poor boy" i thought he had to wait an hour to be saved..the bulet that hit him striked his throat.only clipped it, he was bleeding and struggeling to breath we stood there after about 5 munites i took off my sweater putting it on his neck. he was strangeling struggeling for life. i stood up and held Nikky in my arms telling her to look away, she did. i9 watched the boy after around 50 munites his noises slowed and eventualy stopped...nikky asked me where is god? how could he let a thing happen?a said to myslef :there is god lying on the cold ground covered in snow dead to me gone forever"after 4 munites an ablunance came..that day forth i was never the same.....
