If you did'nt expect this from me... I wonder if your brain is working? ----------------- one nation under god?
what does this statement imply? That our nation has a special spot with our creator? The god loves our nation more? And only ours?
In my opinion, this statement needs to be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, and our society as a whole.
Perhaps you guys can get some good discussion on this topic.

I don't really care. If you ask me we should remove the pledge itself. I hate that damn thing. And I hate people who say that I'm not patriotic enough cause I don't stand for our "glourous" flag.

Americans have a big ego. =/
Not trying to be racist or offensive or anything, but Americans MUST show the world that THEY are superior, and that they are better at everything else... Even in religion.
One nation under God... That line always bothered me... everytime I have to do the flippin' pledge [which I kinda slur and murmur under my breath anyways] I always remember to make that line unclear.
Not only does it imply that America is in favor of God, but also implies that there is only ONE God.
Meh, I'm Wicca/Shinto/Buddhist/a few others, so I don't really believe there's just ONE God; hence why that line always bothered me.
But, eh, it's only my opinion.

I, likewise, feel that the line should be taken out of the pledge. If only because of seperation between church and state.
I'm ok with the pledge though. I think it's a waste of time, but I'm ok with it.
